The cards are quiet on purpose. No exclamation marks, no neon, no cartoon eyes. A drawing you would not mind on the fridge, a fact you would not mind being asked about at dinner. Every fact is checked against a mainstream source and then checked again by a second model before it is printed.
Ages 6 to 10 read them alone. Younger children get them read at the table. The box lasts a school year with a card most days, and the pouch stays on the lunchbox for the next pack.
